  • Day 0  |  OVERNIGHT FLIGHT to Keflavik, Iceland

    Day 1  |  ARRIVE IN ICELAND

  • Your guide will be waiting for you in the Arrival Hall at the airport. Be driven to downtown Reykjavik where your room has been reserved from the night before so you can get some much needed R&R. Take a quick taxi ride to the Domestic Airport of Reykjavik for your 1- hour Helicopter flight. This tour will touch down on a glacier for a champagne toast to start your trip right. After your flight, enjoy a free evening in downtown Reykjavik to stroll, shop and dine. Overnight in Hotel Sand or similar. (B)

    Day 2  |  PRIVATE JEEP TOUR |  THORSMORK

  • Morning pick-up to begin your adventure. You will head towards the small fishing village of Grindavik, and from there hug the south shore of Reykjanes peninsula into the agricultural areas on Iceland’s Southwest. It’s a beautiful drive with varied landscape, ranging from steep sloping volcanic mountains to flatlands and black beaches. The town of Hvolsvollur, will be the last pit stop before you start heading into the interior of Iceland to your main destination of the day Thorsmork. A special picnic lunch will be prepared for you this afternoon (weather dependant).

  • See Iceland’s most famous natural wonders, including the walk behind waterfall at Seljalandsfoss, the canyon waterfall at Gljufrabui before we leave civilization completely behind. The road turns into a track, there will be unbridged rivers to cross and you will truly be on your way to this oasis between the glaciers. In Thorsmork, we have some hikes planned. You will also view Eyjafjallajokull, the volcano under the glacier that was responsible for shut down of all Trans-Atlantic flights in 2010.

  • Head to Geysir, the hot spring area which gave its name to all the words Geysers. While the Great Geysir only erupts about once a day and not always impressing, it’s slightly smaller sibling Strokkur erupts with spouts up to around 100 ft, every 5-7 minutes or so. Overnight in a Junior Suite room with balcony at Hotel Geysir or similar. (B, L)

    ​Day 3  |  LANGJOKULL GLACIER | GOLDEN CIRCLE 

  • Pack up, check out, and have breakfast. Grab your boxed special Icelandic style lunches as you leave. Your guide Today you will visit Gullfoss, to Golden Waterfall, before heading again into the Icelandic Interiors, this time into the “Highlands”. As you traverse across the Highland Route Kjolur, the devastating effect of lava flows in the early 1800’s is visible all around, before you even start to take in the majesty of Iceland’s second largest Glacier, Langjokull.

  • On the east side of the glacier, Mountain guides of Iceland will be waiting.  It’s time to get dressed in your snowmobile suit and braise for whatever the Glacier will be throwing at you on this hour-long snowmobile tour on top of the Glacier. It has been arranged everyone rides your own snowmobile.

  • Enjoy a romantic geothermal hot tub outside. Spotting the Northern Lights is a definite possibility at this side of town. Overnight this night at Hotel Grimsborgir or similar. (B, L)

    Day 4  | THE LAVA TUBE |  BLUE LAGOON

  • Pack up, eat breakfast and check out of your hotel. You will stop at one of the largest accessible Lava Tube/Cave in Iceland, where you can go inside and explore this amazing phenomenon on route to your final destination, The Blue Lagoon. Once at The Blue Lagoon, you will be staying in their Junior Lava Suite or similar.

  • Immerse yourself in the healing waters! You'll have access to the Retreat Spa and the Blue Lagoon Ritual, access to the Retreat Lagoon, and the Blue Lagoon. À la carte breakfast, Blue Lagoon skin care amenities, In-room minibar with soft drinks, beer, and wine Wi-Fi are available, turndown service, Use of fitness center, Host Concierge service will be provided. (B)

    Day 5  | GOOD-BYE ICELAND

  • Let your private concierge arrange for your transfer to the airport for your departure back home. (B)
