The ultimate 12-mile All-Mountain Enduro Single-track daytrip. The variety of technical single-track and fast flowing trail make this a superb choice for advanced mountain bike riders. We ride from A-B with the support of a vehicle drop off at the start of the trail & pick up at trails end.

 

A Great Day Trip for Experienced Mountain Bikers

Scenic challenging single tracks near Reykjavík.

Meet at our base or request pick up in Reykjavik.  We get the bikes ready and hop on the SUV for a 35-minute drive to the trails.  We drive to the dormant volcano “Hengill” and start our ride well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Steam rises from the geothermal plant that is at the bottom of the mountain. We traverse the tectonic ridges where the earth is ripping apart. The variety of technical single-track and fast flowy trails make this a superb choice for advanced riders. The area offers diverse landscapes and everchanging trail.  This trip suits experienced riders. Riders that are fit enough to do a challenging ride. Includes uphill pedaling and fast flowy technical descent.
