​Day 1 | ARRIVE IN ICELAND

Early morning arrival in Reykjavik (Keflavik Airport). Our private bus will be waiting right outside to take the group to the domestic airport in Reykjavik.

An Icelandair Domestic flight takes the group to Akureyri, the Capital of Northern Iceland, where you can check in to your Hotel in the heart of town and take a few hours to rest after our long travels. Evening pick up by specially outfitted super-jeep 4x4’s for an evening of off-road Northern Lights hunting and dinner. Late night arrival back at the hotel.

Day 2 | AKUREYRI - MYVATN​

We start the day heading out to explore the famous lake Myvatns amazing geology. Lava flowed over the original lake thousands of years ago creating massive steam explosions, which left behind perfectly cone shaped craters, caved in lava tubes and otherworldly rock formations.

We will experience Myvatns its boiling mud pits, hot water springs, and hot water caves on our visit.

We then continue the route by the majestic waterfall Godafoss on your way back to your hotel in Akureyri.

Take a dip in a geothermal pool before heading back to civilization.

Day 3 | AKUREYRI - SNOWMOBILE - GOLDEN CIRCLE

We take an early morning flight back to Reykjavik, get into our Super-Truck and head out to explore the amazing continental rift valley of Þingvellir National Park before we turn into the interior to visit Europe's second largest Glacier Langjokull. This is likely to be an overland trek like you have never experienced before. The barren moon-like landscapes and a sight to behold, cross black sand or snow needs to be crossed before.

Snowmobile this afternoon on the glacier and visit one of the most magnificent Ice Caves (weather dependent). Our accommodation for the night will be at Hotel Geysir, just steps away from the spouting hot spring Strokkur.

Day 4 | GOLDEN CIRCLE - REYKJAVIK​​

Head back to civilization with a last stop at the massive Lava Tube Raufarholshellir before ending up in Reykjavik that night.

Day 5 | REYKJAVIK - KEFLAVIK
