Let the mineral-rich, milky-blue waters wash away any travel fatigue, a perfect introduction to Iceland's geothermal power. After a relaxing soak, you'll have time for a leisurely lunch and a stroll around Reykjavik before checking into your hotel, feeling refreshed and ready for the grand journey ahead. Your first night promises serene rest before the adventure truly begins.
Day 2: The Heart of Thorsmörk & South Coast Wonders

Today, the expedition truly ignites. After collecting our custom Super-Jeeps, we leave the main road behind, crossing glacial rivers and navigating black sand deserts into the dramatic, remote oasis of Thorsmörk, the "Garden of Thor." You'll hike into a stunning slot canyon before seeing the famous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. We'll also search for puffins along the coastal cliffs of Dyrhólaey before reaching our hotel in Vik. This is a day defined by exploration and the raw beauty of Iceland’s southern frontier.
Day 3: Volcanic Canyons & Glacier Views

Venture east from Vík on a day dedicated to epic, otherworldly landscapes. Our first stop is a hike into Eldgjá, the world's largest volcanic canyon, a geological marvel that few get to see due to its remote location. You'll stand in awe of its sheer scale and breathtaking beauty. We'll marvel at the basalt columns of the Reynisdrangar sea stacks before arriving at our hotel. Tonight, you'll have unparalleled views of the vast Vatnajökull Glacier, Iceland's largest ice cap, setting the scene for tomorrow's icy adventures.
Day 4: Icebergs, Fjords & The East

Prepare for a day of icy spectacle. Witness the shimmering ice fragments on Diamond Beach, a surreal landscape where glacial ice washes ashore. Afterwards, we'll embark on a thrilling Zodiac boat ride through the Glacier Lagoon, navigating a maze of colossal icebergs. Our journey continues as we head inland into the stunning Eastern Fjords, navigating winding mountain passes toward the charming town of Egilsstaðir. The unique geography of the east will mesmerize you with its quiet, dramatic beauty.
Day 5: Into The Fire & Ice of the Highlands

Today is all about embracing the remote and raw spirit of the Icelandic Highlands. Our convoy heads into the completely uninhabitable Eastern Central Highlands, an ancient landscape of volcanic desert, vast sands, and glacial rivers. This is where your Super-Jeep truly shines, navigating terrain that feels like another planet. You will witness the true power of Iceland's untouched wilderness and experience the isolation and freedom of a true expedition. This is a day that solidifies the unique nature of this tour.
Day 6: The Wonders of Lake Mývatn

Explore the surreal geothermal area around Lake Mývatn. Witness the incredible geology, from perfectly formed pseudo-craters created by ancient steam explosions to bubbling mud pits and hot water caves. The area is also home to some of Iceland's most varied birdlife. We'll then journey to Europe’s most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss, a testament to nature's brute force, and the majestic Goðafoss, the "Waterfall of the Gods," before arriving in Akureyri, the charming capital of the north.
Day 7: Across the Highlands to The Golden Circle

Leaving the main road, we'll traverse the middle of Iceland on mountain trails that are only open to a select few. Our destination is the geothermal oasis of Hveravellir where you can soak in a natural hot spring nestled between two glaciers. It's a surreal and rewarding experience. We'll then arrive at the magnificent Gullfoss, the "Golden Waterfall," one of the most powerful and beautiful cascades in the country, before settling in for the night near the famous Geysir.
Day 8: The Golden Circle & Reykjavík's Charm

Today we close the loop, completing our incredible expedition around the island. Enjoy a final drive through the iconic Golden Circle, visiting the geothermal area of Geysir and the historic site of Þingvellir National Park. We’ll then return the Super-Jeeps and check into your Reykjavík hotel. The evening is yours to celebrate the journey and enjoy the city's lively dining, culture, and nightlife scene, a perfect contrast to the wild landscapes of the past week.
Day 9: Whale Watching & Farewell
